USS Mullinnix heading into New York City, 1977

The USS Mullinnix arrived in Brooklyn, NY for an 11 month yard period on 6 January 77 after a stop in Earle, NJ to off-load ammo (The Mullinnix spent all but the last 3 wks of 1977 in Brooklyn, NY according to Shayne Stephens). After she left the Brooklyn Naval Shipyard she sailed to her new home port of Charleston, South Carolina in the early part of December 1977.
