I'd completely forgotten about this band. While in Santiago, Chile (June 2010) watching my "Life On Mars" DVD in my hotel, I looked on Amazon to see if the sound track from the US version of this fantastic series was available. It isn't, which is a bloody shame! However, I click on the link for the British CD and...well...holly shit...the name "Atomic Rooster" jump off the page at me. I've ONLY included tracks from their album "Death Walks Behind You" for 2 reasons. First and foremost, because I reminder every frick'in song from the "summer of 1973". (A distance) second reason - I don't remember any of the songs on the other two albums above (trust me, I listened to every song - no dice...)
These kinds of “discoveries” have happened to me before. Every time it makes me wonder what other fantastic band(s) I’ve forgotten over the fog-infested years? If you can help out, go back to my home page and click on my email link. BTW, I focus on music that was listened to (with a vengeance) in 1973.
Drink one for me,
Woody
